Saudi Arabia - Feasibility Study, Electrical System Studies, Scope of Work and Technical spec for Installation of 380kV Station Transformer (ST) in JSTPP, SEC-WOA (photo is indicative)
Scope of Work :
Satcon shall deliver the following services to study and establish the means of improving the level of redundancy to induct the Black start feature in the existing JSTPP and 380kV GIS substation :
a. Site visit for data collection and preliminary discussions with the Client to understand the problems faced by them in absence of the proposed Station Transformer.
b. Feasibility report for addition of new ST/s in the power plant. The report shall include Key SLDs, Protection SLDs, Interlocking scheme, Bus transfer schemes and Layout drawings to justify the findings of the Feasibility Report.
c. Study and recommendation of MVA rating of the new ST/s.
d. Preparation of Scope of work and Technical specifications along with conceptual drawings for lump sum turn key (LSTK) execution of the work by the Contractor.
Note : Various Material standards specifications of EHV/HV/MV/LV equipment of the Client shall be utilised for preparation of Technical specs of the equipment.
e. Preparation of Bill of quantity for the project.
f. Cost estimation for this project.
g. Study and preparation of modification/interfacing in existing plant power distribution system.
h. Study and Preparation of modification / interfacing drawings for existing 380KV substation.
i. Study and recommendation for 380KV existing cable route to be used for additional 380KV cable/s accommodation.
j. Study and recommendation for distribution of ST to unit and common 13.8KV switchgear as back up auxiliary power source during black start.
k. Study and recommendation for CIVIL work and land/location for new installation requirements (STs, New MV Switchgears etc.).
l. Study and recommendation of plant outage requirement for implementation of this project.
m. Electrical power system study (Load flow, Short circuit, Motor stating studies) to determine the normal (rated) and short time rating of different equipment.
n. Project schedule for implementation for this project.
o. Attending online and onsite meetings (Feasibility Report, Base design meetings) with the Client as per advice of TDC.
